SpVgg Greuther Fürth begins its preparation for the new season on July 1, but without the traditional training camp. In previous years, the team regularly traveled to Bad Häring in Austria to prepare for the upcoming challenges. This year, however, the club will conduct most of its preparation in its home environment. According to club statements, there will still be varied test matches to optimally prepare the team. A highlight will be the test match against Bundesliga side TSG Hoffenheim on July 25. This will take place at the FC Zuzenhausen pitch and will be played over two halves of 60 minutes. Before this important duel, additional test matches against lower-league opponents are planned, with dates to be announced in the coming days. The training kickoff on July 1 will start at 10:30 AM at the SpVgg Greuther Fürth training center, where medical and athletic performance tests will also be conducted.
